3rd Annual Jolly Good Time Tournament

Lots of info and this form takes a while to assemble for you guys… so please at least skim through!

Drengr Axe Throwing and Texas Axe Throwing have joined forces to bring you a Major and Tier 1 in 2024. We understand the struggle of travel costs and tournament fees, so we have partnered to give you the option of making monthly payments to attend not one, but TWO Texas Tournaments. More info to follow in March regarding the Texas Throwdown, but in working together we are standardizing schedules and disciplines, etc.

HOWEVER, due to WATL tournament marketing and release date rules, Texas Axe Throwing is only allowed to offer a certain amount of payment plan options before March 1.  After March 1 they will have tickets on sale to be paid in full.

FREE HOTEL ROOM DRAWING ENTRY – DEADLINE 1/15/2024:

Like last year, if you get signed up for the 3rd Annual Jolly Good Time (JGT) Tournament by 1/15/2024, you will get entered into a drawing for a room at the Courtyard Marriott from Thursday to Monday morning!

Texas Axe Throwing is working on something similar and we will update this as soon as the info is confirmed.

DISCIPLINES:

This year we will have all FIVE disciplines, with the addition of WKTL Duals in 2024.  Both the WKTL Knives and WKTL Duals have Worlds Bids up for grabs at Drengr.  Still waiting to hear for Texas Axe.

PRIZE POOL:

• DRENGR Prize Pool – 62% of entry fees and 3% is being donated to TiF.
• TEXAS THROWDOWN Prize Pool – 50% plus $1,500 cash

SCHEDULE:

The tentative schedule is as follows:

• Thursday  – Open practice and Meet & Greet
  • Drengr has confirmed 3 lanes at Chicken N’Pickle in Grapevine, TX from 7pm to 9pm. Who wants to show Chara how to play?!!!  IYKYK
• Friday – Knives, followed by Big Axe
• Saturday – Open and Amateur Hatchet
• Sunday Funday – Duals followed by WKTL Duals

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Below are three options (if signing up in December):

• 2024 Jolly Good Time (JGT) – Pay in Full.
• 2024 Jolly Good Time (JGT) – Payment Plan 3 months.
• 2024 Texas Throwdown & 2024 JGT – Payment Plan 6 months.
• 2024 Texas Throwdown – Pay in Full Options will be Released in March.

HOTELS:

Drengr has secured 13 rooms at the Courtyard Marriott by the venue.  Hotels in the area are cheap right now but if you want one of the rooms we reserved, please let us know.  This deal was considered a long term stay and is only for anyone that wants a room from Thursday night until Monday morning.  We have the following:

• 5 King bed rooms – $69 a night plus tax.
• 8 Double Queen rooms – $79 a night plus tax.

Rooms will be invoiced via Square or added to your payment plan.  Send an email to alison@drengr.com if you want one of the rooms at the rate listed above!
