I've never thrown an axe before. Will someone be there to help me?
Yes! Walk-ins, Reservations, and Leagues are all overseen by our expert coaches. When your group arrives, your coach will teach you safety, demonstrate proper technique, and assist you until you're hitting bullseyes on every throw! During reservations, coaches can even run a tournament for your group if you're feeling competitive.
Can I make a axe throwing reservation for 2 people?
Yes. We currently have reservations for groups of 2 or more. Walk-ins are also available for groups of any size. The walk-in schedule is available at totalaxe.com/walk-ins/.
Do you have same day reservations?
Same day reservations are available most days with enough notice. You can see up-to-the-minute availability here.
What is the age limit?
We don't have one for most items! Knife throwers must be 18. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their parent, but there is no minimum. We have lighter axes, tomahawks, and throwing stars for our smaller throwers. All participants are treated equally. Anyone who cannot follow our safety rules with reasonable accommodation (regardless of age) will be asked not to participate.
Can I book a reservation if I don't know how many people are coming?
Your group will be charged for the minimum number on your reservation, plus any added at the time of your reservation. For instance, if you choose "11-20 people", your group will be charged for a minimum of 11 people. If you're unsure of how many are coming, we recommend booking for the smallest number and you can add more when your group arrives.
Can I fill out the waiver in advance?
Yes, there is a space on the confirmation email to "Complete Guest Details". When you click on that, you can have the waiver emailed to each of your guests. If there are any complications, you can fill out the online waiver here.
If the time I want is unavailable, can I just book something else at that time?
Some of our experiences have limited availability. Your group will get the experience you reserved for at that time. As stated above, you will be charged for the number of people on the invoice plus an extras added at the time of booking. For example, if you book a group of 10, but only 2 show up, you will be charged for all 10.

Outside food/catering is welcome and encouraged. Marco's Pizza Chesterfield offers 15% off for deliveries to Total Axe. Give us a heads-up if you need a little extra space cleared off, and we'll be happy to help. When you arrive, your group will be given some brief safety instructions. Then, our coaches will teach you how to throw, run matches, and even host a tournament for the best-of-the-best in the group.
